After bookmarking so many other folks blogs under my "blogs that are cool" favorites places,
I'm starting my own blog. Finally. Thanks to another mom who wrote about needing a place
to put her adult thoughts. She's a stay at home mom. I understand the need!
I used to love to journal. The feel of a really good fountain pen in hand on paper.
Face it, Muf, your fingers can think faster on a keyboard than with pen and paper in
this new century. So much science fiction is now science fact. While THAT has made
life so much easier and exciting, it leaves little time for hand written musings.
Anne McCaffrey's right. This generation is going to lose so much knowledge and wisdom.
Simply because 100 years or more from now, no one will be able to open up a dusty cedar
chest to find anyone's writings tied up with a faded ribbon, or favorite books carefully
preserved !

Dear Friend,
I received your post on my blog and I wanted to apologize for my post that may have seemed disrespectful. I read it in a different context and got a totally different meaning than you did. I am a teacher and I have worked with students with Asperger's and I truly do believe that they are gift from God. I have learned more this past year from a child who has autism and Aspergers than I have from most adults in my life. You can read my post about him. I really didn't mean anything disrespectful. I greatly apologize if I offended you or caused you any grief. I took it down from my blog. Thank you for your kind rebuke.
